About You:

About The Role:
The Intake and Engagement Officer plays a pivotal role in supporting potential clients to connect with The Bridge and access services that align with their independent living and employment goals. This position is responsible for delivering a full suite of intake services underpinned by a person-centred approach to engagement.
Key aspects of the role include coordinating administrative processes supporting business operations and providing responsive support to clients families carers and other stakeholders. The Intake and Engagement Officer will also conduct assessments meetings and site visits to understand individual needs and identify the most suitable services.
Reporting to the Intake and Engagement Lead this role receives regular guidance and support. With a strong community focus it also contributes to business development and service growth across The Bridge.
Selection Criteria:
Essential
Experience in disability service delivery.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Excellent administration skills for all general administration tasks.
Ability to build rapport with Coordinators and Managers to successfully onboard new clients.
Exceptional organisational and time management skills and ability to juggle competing priorities.
Ability to establish good rapport with transition/pathways staff and external stakeholders in support of intake and pathways functions.
Risk awareness and the ability to draw this information from clients and their families in a supportive manner and then assess service appropriateness.
A demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
IT skills in the use of the MS Office Suite especially Excel/Databases and Google Docs.
Ability to understand and utilise media and marketing promotional strategies.
Demonstrated business integrity with a focus on the best interest of the client and to The Bridge.
Possession of a current Victoria Drivers License and available to travel between The Bridge site locations.
Desirable
Experience using Supportability.
Experience using HubSpot.
Event Coordination skills.
Knowledge of the NDIS price guide and expertise in maximising service delivery options based on funding allocated.
Understanding of Support Coordination and ability to research options for clients.
