The Equipment Support Specialist provides support for fixed asset management including acoustic music instrument and equipment checkout maintenance and inventory as necessary for periodic internal and external fixed assets audits and equipment surplussing in accordance with university procedures. The Equipment Support Specialist is also responsible for locker support and maintenance. The Equipment Support Specialist provides classroom A/V support to the music classrooms.
Required Qualifications
Experience with acoustical music instruments audio/video equipment and technology is also required. The successful candidate must possess excellent organizational time management communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision being able to prioritize and perform multiple tasks. The candidate must be willing to work both independently and cooperatively in a team atmosphere.
Preferred Qualifications
A Bachelor in Music or equivalent background in music is desired.
