Job Description
Job Description: TERREPOWER is setting up a new warehouse site dedicated to receiving storing and distributing Newman and Reman wheels. We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the operations and ensure efficient and effective management of the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in setting up both the new sites in Memphis located less than 1 mile from each other.
- Oversee the daily operations of a 25-person distribution warehouse.
- Ensure all incoming shipments are accurately received and documented.
- Manage inventory control and ensure all products are properly stored and accounted for.
- Coordinate with other distribution centers to ensure timely and accurate shipment of wheels.
- Implement and maintain warehouse safety and security protocols.
- Train supervise and evaluate warehouse staff.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor and manage warehouse budget including labor equipment and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Safety-focused with experience in training staff on safety protocols.
- Lead/supervisory experience and people management skills.
- Experience with forklifts order pickers and motorized pallet jacks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Teams.
- Experience utilizing shipping software ERP WMS or similar software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
