Job description
CMDB Design and Architecture:
Lead the design and architecture of the new CMDB ensuring it meets the organizations requirements for efficient ITSM processes.
Define the structure and relationships between Configuration Items (CIs) to support impact analysis root cause analysis and change management.
Data Ingestion Strategies:
Develop strategies for automated data ingestion from technical assets using Device42 and manual data ingestion for creating customers functional services and mapping relationships.
Vendor Tool Integration:
Utilize tools such as Victoria Metrics Azure Monitor and Loki for extracting asset information to create and manage CIs within the CMDB.
Documentation and Training:
Document the CMDB design architecture and data ingestion processes.
Provide training sessions for the development team and other stakeholders.
