Amazon Publishing is looking for an experienced data-driven and customer-obsessed marketing professional or program manager to lead our global selection growth efforts and will be responsible for processes and tools that help our marketing programs team. The ideal candidate will be analytical detail-oriented and obsessed with the customer experience. They will need to be creative capable of dealing with ambiguity relentless in seeking new opportunities adept at influencing both internally and externally and comfortable working with cross functional teams and management in multiple marketplaces. This is a multi-faceted job in a fast-paced high productivity environment that requires flexibility forward-thinking and a sense of humor. Position is based in Seattle office with possibility of New York office for the right candidate.
Key job responsibilities Conceive and create innovative marketing programs to help readers discover Amazon Publishing books. Manage and improve end-to-end solutions to improve selection for customers. Use data to measure and forecast performance of programs and drive innovation. Partner with stakeholders within Amazon to leverage marketing program functionality and identify new opportunities that align to team and cross-company goals. Develop and execute testing to refine best practices inclusive of dynamic goal-setting and measurement. Look around corners to identify risks to the customer experience and proactively address them. Identify trends and opportunities to improve processes and increase performance. Report on key business metrics to senior leadership.

- 4 years of professional non-internship marketing experience - 3 years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience - Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements - Experience building executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs - Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages
- Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners - Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint - Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership - Superior communication and analytical skills including strong ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems
