The opportunity
Service Coordinator Job Description
Southern New Hampshire University is currently seeking a Student Worker as a Service Coordinator for our Campus location in The Chandler Center. This position will provide office support to the Center by welcoming guests answering telephone and email as well as act as liaison between the Center and non-profit community organizations. Students will coordinate community service projects as well as provide onsite guidance and support to student service-learners at the community non-profit organizations.

Flexible including weekdays early evenings and weekends (approximately 12 hours per week)
Learning Outcomes:
Understand and exhibit exemplary work ethic demonstrating punctuality dependability effective time management and the ability to set and achieve professional goals. Cultivate critical thinking skills allowing you to perform tasks independently with minimal supervision and make informed decisions in various work situations. Gain confidence in professional communication including proper telephone etiquette concise and accurate email correspondence and effective interaction with Center visitors. Acquire skills in planning promoting and managing events engaging others in the process. Develop an awareness of the diversity within the greater Manchester community and the non-profit groups served alongside building your own definition of active citizenship and understanding your role in contributing positively to the community.

Compensation
The hourly pay range for this position is $12.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills qualifications experience and internal equity in addition to relevant business considerations.Required Experience:
