Your Role
As a Senior Operational Excellence Manager you will play a strategic role within our Operational Excellence Team in Operations & Supply. While this position does not involve direct people management it is instrumental in overseeing lean operations and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
Your goal will be to:
- Act as a strong partner in implementing global standards across VELUX Production Sites
- Enable our operations to identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement solutions for critical business challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide and engage in collaborative efforts across different functions within Operations & Supply focusing on creating and implementing global standards.
- Facilitate global Kaizen events.
- Provide on-site support to production companies in applying Lean tools.
- Manage global programs and processes.
- Oversee large-scale global improvement initiatives.
- Deliver training sessions on Lean tools and the VELUX Operating System.
Your Qualifications
- 510 years of experience across various functions in a global Supply Chain environment.
- Extensive experience in Lean Manufacturing as both a practitioner and trainer.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities paired with effective project management experience.
- Proficient management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A skilled relationship builder who thrives in ambiguity.
- Solid business acumen and holistic understanding of operations.
- Effective communication skills.
- Academic or professional background in Operations or Supply Chain Development.
- Willingness to travel approximately 4060 days per year.
