Base Salary - starting salary is 16762.31 per annum increasing to 19000 2nd year 21000 3rd year and 26000 in the final year. These increments are only applicable once targets are achieved.

Apprentice Workshop Engineer Milton Keynes
Position Overview:
As an Apprentice Workshop Engineer youll be an important part of our Engineering Team in Milton Keynes. Youll work alongside experienced engineers and learn how to maintain and repair the equipment that keeps our production lines running smoothly. This is a hands-on role where youll gain valuable skills in mechanical engineering while supporting the plants operations. Youll report to theEngineering Supervisorand receive full training and support throughout your apprenticeship.
What Youll Learn and Do:
- How to safely maintain and support essential plant services likecompressors boilers and water towers
- How torepair and refurbishmechanical parts such asrollers pumps gearboxes and conveyors
- How to assist withproduction line breakdowns and equipment changeovers
- How to use workshop machinery likelathes grinders and manual milling machines
- Exposure to in house Welding and Fabrication
- How to manage and organiseengineering tools and spare parts
- How to supportengineering projectsand improvements across the plant
- The importance ofworkplace safety and cleanlinessin a busy workshop environment
- Participate inmaintenance daysand planned engineering activities
What Were Looking For:
- A genuine interest inmechanical engineeringand how things work
- Awillingness to learnand work as part of a team
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- A positive attitude and the ability to follow instructions safely
- A basic understanding of tools and machinery (desirable but not essential)
What Youll Need:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) inMaths English and Science Grade 4/C or above preferred
- A desire to complete aMechanical Engineering Apprenticeship
- A commitment to learning bothon the job and through college-based training
