Our client is a well-established firm that provides a wide range of services within the regulatory and corporate sectors. They support businesses with compliance licensing advisory and operational solutions particularly within highly regulated industries. With a multidisciplinary team and a client-focused approach they assist both startups and established entities in navigating complex legal and financial frameworks.

They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join their finance team with a focus on managing the receivables ledger and supporting general finance operations.

Location: Hybrid - Msida

Responsibilities:

As a Associate Credit Control your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date accounts receivable ledger
  • Issue invoices and credit notes in line with internal procedures
  • Monitor customer accounts for missed or delayed payments
  • Follow up on outstanding balances through phone and email communication
  • Handle cheque and cash payments and ensure timely deposits
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies
  • Attend debtor meetings and provide updates on collections status
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes related to receivables
  • Perform other finance-related tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • A minimum of A Level in Accounting or equivalent
  • At least 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar credit control or finance role
  • Strong attention to detail with good problem-solving abilities
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Clear path for career development.
