Our client a large Government organisation are seeking a Facilities Coordinator to join their team.
The Facilities Coordinator supports the Facilities Manager in the provision of day-to-day operational support and onsite assistance for all building-related matters. The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in facilities management and sound customer service experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administration of building systems including access control locker and wayfinding systems.
- Support the BMS Officer and Facilities Manager with the delivery of day-to-day building management services where required.
- Identify and verify required works based on BMS reports and regular inspections and engage service contractors to undertake works.
- In collaboration with the Facilities Manager supervise and coordinate trades personnel and contractors engaged in the daily operation of the campus ensuring that all works are completed in a safe effective and timely manner.
Selection Criteria:
- Current ACT Drivers Licence
- Skills/experience in or the ability to learn to use building automation systems (BMS and BIM) for facilities management.
- Hold or be willing to obtain first aid certification.
- Hold or be willing to obtain Fire Warden training.
- Qualifications and/or skills/experience in facilities management
