Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Degree(s):

  1. Required High school diploma or GED equivalent
  2. Professional experience:
  3. Previous work experience in area related to job assignment extensive experience in Microsoft Office applications (Excel Microsoft Word etc.)
  4. Experience in the K-12 industry preferred.
  5. Previous work experience in area related to job assignment
  6. Competency in mathematical computation with knowledge of processing purchase orders
  7. Able to manage multiple tasks projects and prioritize necessary actions
  8. Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  9. Possess a strong understanding of appropriate leading-edge technologies.
  10. Must be a critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  11. Ability to implement policy and procedures.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

250 Days

SALARY/PAY GRADE:

$36423/CP-5as approved by the Board of Trustees

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Provides administrative support to the Assistant Director for 1:1 including scheduling meetings managing calendars and preparing meeting agendas and minutes.
  2. Performs clerical duties including but not limited to preparing memos and letters taking phone calls and messages copying filing faxing and the ordering and maintenance of supplies for the Technology Campus Support Team.
  3. Assists in project coordination by maintaining communication with internal departments and external vendors and tracking status updates on technology projects.
  4. Prepares and distributes reports related to technology inventory 1:1 program statistics and other data requests from campuses and departments.
  5. Maintains documentation for the 1:1 program and inventory systems ensuring files are accurate up-to-date and stored appropriately for access and reference.
  6. Responsible for keeping the 1:1 storage area organized and up to date ensuring devices and related materials are properly stored labeled and inventoried.
  7. Assists with establishing the yearly technician meeting calendar with the Technician Managers (securing meeting space for each meeting setting up meeting space purchasing and setting up drinks/refreshments arranging)
  8. Responsible for managing School Cash processes related to Technology department transactions.
  9. Assists with Chromebook deployment and collection processes across campuses as needed.
  10. Manages Chromebook return logistics including coordination of shipments through FedEx.
  11. Assists with HR/Payroll duties (i.e. processing mileage reimbursements and overtime / extra duty payments timesheet issues timesheet approver issues leave request management Leave Bank inquiries FMLA requests/questions Workers Comp paperwork submissions and follow-up etc.) as needed.
  12. Provides logistical support for planning sessions training events and strategy meetings related to the 1:1 technology program.
  13. Supports training coordination by working with the Assistant Director for 1:1 to manage schedules materials and communications related to staff development.
  14. Assists in planning and tracking technology hardware transitions and asset movements including maintaining records of shipments deliveries and inventory changes pertaining to the 1:1 program.
  15. Prepares correspondence and communications (email memos reports) on behalf of the department ensuring professional and timely delivery of information to stakeholders.
  16. Assists with managing stock levels related to the 1:1 program by working with the necessary teams to track technology inventory supplies and reorder as necessary.
  17. Assists with all campus support initiatives and special projects.
  18. Assists with the maintaining and filling of reports records and other documents as required.
  19. Provides receptionist functions as necessary.
  20. Complies with policies established by federal and state law State Board of Education rules and local board policy.
  21. Performs other duties as assigned.
