Key job responsibilities
Design develop deploy and maintain AWS healthcare services using cloud computing and AI technologies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers applied scientists and other engineers to define and execute on our product roadmap
Implement and optimize machine learning models for healthcare applications
Contribute to architectural decisions for scalable reliable and efficient cloud services
Ensure high standards of code quality through code reviews automated testing and continuous integration
Participate in the full software development lifecycle from concept to delivery and maintenance
Drive innovation in solving complex healthcare challenges using advanced technologies

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related technical field
- 5 years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java C or Python
- Experience with distributed systems and cloud computing platforms
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and their practical applications
- Knowledge of data structures algorithms and software design patterns
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Masters degree in Computer Science AI or related field
- Experience with healthcare data standards (FHIR) or HIPAA compliance
- Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow PyTorch or scikit-learn
- Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) or speech recognition technologies
- Experience with AWS services and cloud architecture
- Contributions to open-source projects or research publications
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
