Insurance Sales Producer
As an Insurance Sales Producer with Western Financial Group you will use your sales expertise to prospect and acquire clients into your book of business ensuring your customers have the coverage they need. We will provide training and support for the right candidate to become licensed and trained in Commercial Insurance.
Here is what a typical day looks like
- Support new and existing customers by offering recommendations for products and services required
- Promote retention of existing customers by building strong relationships and providing quality customer service
- Navigate multiple insurance partner online portals to complete customer applications
- Quote new business through outbound calls and walk-in clients
- Communicate with insurance company Underwriters to ensure evolving guidelines are met
- Prospect and up-sell when talking to public on all lines of business sold
- Liaise between client and external insurance partners to ensure fair and proper representation for both parties
- Continuous self-development through industry and community involvement and industry related courses
The value you bring
- General Insurance Level 2 License an asset; we will support the right candidate in acquiring this after hire
- Experience prospecting new business closing sales and providing excellent customer service
- The ability to communicate professionally in person over the phone and through email
- Experience managing a book of business or relatable work experience
- A desire to learn our systems and processes. If you dont know something ask!
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in the face of adversity
- Passionate about helping people self-driven and determined to succeed
Hours: 37.5 hours/week
Location: Hybrid in Cranbrook Fernie or Creston BC
Compensation: Guaranteed Income 50% commission on new business and 30% commission on renewals
