YOUR NEW ROLE
The Safety Systems and Risk Consultant is an experienced and trusted safety professional supporting Opera House managers understand WHS responsibilities and foster a positive safety culture. The Safety Systems and Risk Consultant also supports managers by proactively providing a range of risk services including technical advice training audits investigations and risk assessments.
The Safety Systems and Risk Consultant manages a number of important systems and processes including WHS Risk Registers safety action plans safety management systems such as the incident report system projects and the safety training program.

ARE YOU THE ONE
Key Responsibilities/skills:
Tertiary WHS qualifications with 5-10 years experience as a safety advisoror equivalent
Preferred industry experience: live performance high risk environment or multi-purpose/venue facility operation
Demonstrated experience driving projects including managing change and delivering results
Strong technical knowledge including systems investigations WHS legislation/Codes of Practice/Australian Standards
Strong skills arranging and undertaking audits preparing reports and providing recommendations for action
A high standard of written skills including report and procedure writing a wide range of stakeholder communications
Demonstrated ability influencing peers and developing effective working relationships with all people
