Job Description

The Department of Music in the Arts invites applications for a Part-time Academic Instructor to teach Music 312 Women and Popular Music during the fall and the winter semesters of 2025-26. This position is subject to final budgetary approval.

The Department of Music in the faculty of Arts invites applications for a Part-time Academic Instructor for the following course:

Course Number and Title: Music 312 Women and Popular Music

Course Description: This course is cross listed with Women and Gender Studies.

Start and End Dates: September 1 2025 - April 30 2026

Class Schedule: TBD

Delivery Mode: in-person

Duties

Part-Time Academic Instructor positions involve the normal duties related to the design and teaching of a university credit course including but not limited to preparation and delivery of course content; development administration and marking of assignments tests and exams; calculation and submission of grades; and holding regular office hours.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • A Degree in Music with related experience
