Ensuring Charts Success
Howden Maintenance Partnersis part ofChart Industriesand is a growing service company within the group specializing in the maintenance repair and overhaul of industrial machines both electrically and mechanically rotating. Think of electric motors pumps gearboxes generators steam turbines turbo compressors reciprocating compressors and expanders. This can be done on-site at the customers location or at one of our facilities.

As aService Technician you will go on-site to overhaul machines at the customers location. If more extensive maintenance is required you will be responsible for disassembly so that the maintenance or repair can be carried out in the workshop. After the maintenance or repair you will reassemble the machine at the customers site.
What Will You Do
- You will overhaul all kinds of (electro)mechanical equipment such as compressors turbines and pumps;
- During disassembly you will measure the machine dismantle it and prepare it for transport;
- After the overhaul or repair in the workshop you will reinstall the machine on-site align it and bring it back into operation;
- When disassembling and assembling the installation you will handle tasks such as fitting aligning determining clearances final assembly and possibly installing new equipment. You will use the necessary tools and in consultation have any special tools made;
- You will check whether the work can be carried out safely;
- You will be responsible for test-running the repaired or new installation in consultation with the supervisor/customer;
- You will adjust various components whether hydraulic pneumatic or electric;
- You will keep records of the work performed newly acquired parts or tools and hours worked.
What do you bring to the table
- You have ahigher secondary education diplomain a technical field or equivalent through experience;
- Pump technology hydraulics and pneumaticshold no secrets for you;
- You have experience withaligning directly coupled machines or belt-driven systems check!
- Abasic knowledge of mounting and dismounting bearingsis definitely a plus;
- You enjoy workingoutside the traditional 9-to-5 framework;
- You have aCategory B driving license.
