Centurion is proud to be the provider ofcomprehensive healthcare services to the FloridaDepartment of Corrections.We are hiring a full-time work from home physician. The hours are 8:00 - 4:30 Monday - Friday.
The provider must live in Central Floridaas visits to the correctional institutions in this region will occur.
The Physician (Telehealth) provides medical assessments and evaluations in addition to treatment for emergent urgent and routine medical issues. The Physician remotely supervises medical treatment for chronic medical conditions and participates in organizational initiatives to help prevent diseases and injuries of patients under the direction of the Site Medical Director and/or the Statewide Medical Director. This professional collaborates with the Health Services Administrator (HSA) to ensure that efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided.

Qualifications
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
Active unrestricted MD/DO license or ability to obtain one required
Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration with prescriptive authority
Ability to pass credentialing and background check
