ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a Product Management Intern to join our team. In this role you will support the Product Management team in driving the development launch and improvement of our telecommunications products and services. This internship is an exciting opportunity to learn about the product lifecycle from ideation and market research to strategy and execution all while working alongside seasoned professionals in the field.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

• Assist in gathering data on market trends customer needs competitor offerings and emerging business opportunities. Provide insights to help shape product roadmaps and development strategies.
• Work with product managers to help define product features user stories and functional requirements. Support product strategy development by aligning customer needs with business goals.
• Collaborate with teams from marketing engineering sales and customer support to ensure seamless communication and alignment on product development and launches.
• Assist in creating product documentation including product briefs specifications and release notes. Help maintain an organized repository of product-related materials.
• Participate in collecting customer feedback and conducting usability testing. Analyze user insights to recommend product enhancements or optimizations.
• Help track product development progress milestones and deadlines. Support project managers in coordinating tasks and ensuring product timelines are met.
• Assist in preparing for product launches by working with the marketing and sales teams on messaging promotional materials and customer communications.
• Analyze product performance data (such as usage statistics customer feedback and sales) and assist in generating reports to assess the success of product initiatives.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods
• Capacity to operate a computer and other office equipment
• Effective communication skills for team collaboration
• Ability to analyze complex technical information

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Engineering or a related field. Recent graduates are also welcome to apply.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of product management tools like JIRA Confluence or similar software is a plus.
• Familiarity with telecommunications products or services is beneficial. Understanding of basic technical concepts related to telecom products (e.g. broadband wireless 5G) is a plus.
