Job Description

Role Summary

The Well-being Strategist will work collaboratively with high-touch and/or complex U3000 accounts prospects and brokers to develop and evaluate holistic well-being strategies that support a healthy work culture that enhance the vitality of all. The Well-being Strategist focuses on the development and market-level support of client well-being strategies along with providing strategic insights and support.

General Responsibilities

  • Translate market-level data and value trends into accountable strategies for U3000 account teams matrix partners and brokers to support client well-being strategies
  • Review market-level health and well-being product reporting to identify well-being opportunities
  • Utilize segmentation data to inform population health insights
  • Assume role of trusted advisor on emerging well-being trends and health promotion vendor landscape
  • Advise on best practices for a diverse and dispersed workforce that foster engagement
  • Partner with internal matrix partners (CEC/EC CM/NBM) brokers and vendor partners regarding well-being strategy design
  • Consult on complex client health and well-being strategies
  • Liaise across key stakeholders to drive cohesive well-being strategies
  • Offer recommendations on well-being incentive designs
  • Collaborate with U3000 account teams and matrix partners to design implement measure and/or modify innovative projects
  • Incorporate inclusive strategies across the marketplace to support client workforces
  • Leverage THI/data analytics to review market-level health and well-being strategy opportunities
  • Provide finalist support and attend meetings with prospective clients offering strategy and competitive intelligence insights
  • Support broker roadshow meetings to highlight Cigna well-being capabilities
  • Demonstrate mastery of Cigna well-being products tools and resources

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in health promotion/well-being field
  • Industry certification such as CHES NWI WELCOA etc. is preferred
  • Masters degree in health education health promotion or related field preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to develop well-being strategies and engagement solutions
  • Highly skilled in presenting data critical thinking and influencing others
  • Self-directed with ability to successfully engage with internal and external matrix partners
  • Must be willing to travel as needed (less than 30%) to support key client/broker/market meetings
