*Pre-approval required with an agreement established between Lake Area Tech and the high school.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of an Associates Degree or 3 years work experience for technical courses Bachelors Degree for non-transferrable general education courses or Masters degree with a minimum of 18 credits in the field of study required.
- Minimum of a Masters Degree with 18 credits in the field of study for transferrable general education courses.
- Prior teaching experience and curriculum development experience preferred.
- Excellent people skills.
- Bilingual a plus.
- National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) Gold or higher a plus.
REPORTS TO: Dual Credit Coordinator Department Supervisor Dean of Academics Vice President
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Developing curriculum and instructing students in delegated course(s).
- Ensuring curriculum meets the course outcomes as established by Lake Area Tech.
- Communicating student progress in courses to promote student success.
- Work in partnership with the other faculty members to maintain an effective teaching team.
- Other duties as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Subject to the terms of the agreement between Lake Area Tech and the sponsoring high school.
