Job Description

*Pre-approval required with an agreement established between Lake Area Tech and the high school.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of an Associates Degree or 3 years work experience for technical courses Bachelors Degree for non-transferrable general education courses or Masters degree with a minimum of 18 credits in the field of study required.
  • Minimum of a Masters Degree with 18 credits in the field of study for transferrable general education courses.
  • Prior teaching experience and curriculum development experience preferred.
  • Excellent people skills.
  • Bilingual a plus.
  • National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) Gold or higher a plus.

REPORTS TO: Dual Credit Coordinator Department Supervisor Dean of Academics Vice President

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Developing curriculum and instructing students in delegated course(s).
  • Ensuring curriculum meets the course outcomes as established by Lake Area Tech.
  • Communicating student progress in courses to promote student success.
  • Work in partnership with the other faculty members to maintain an effective teaching team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Subject to the terms of the agreement between Lake Area Tech and the sponsoring high school.
