Position Summary:

A highly skilled and experienced Commercial HVAC Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of commercial HVAC experience and demonstrated hands-on expertise with chiller systems. Possession of a valid EPA Universal Certification or equivalent HVAC license is required. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the performance safety and efficiency of building systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install maintain and repair commercial HVAC systems including chillers boilers air handlers and rooftop units.

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability and efficiency.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues including electrical and mechanical components.

  • Monitor and optimize energy usage through system adjustments and upgrades.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities repairs and inspections.

  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols building codes and environmental regulations.

  • Collaborate with building engineers contractors and vendors as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experiencein commercial HVAC systems.

  • EPA Universal Certificationor equivalentHVAC certification(must be current).

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems controls and building automation systems (BAS).

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical manuals.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation (if travel between sites is required).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with energy management systems (EMS).

  • Familiarity with commercial building codes and OSHA regulations.

  • Additional certifications in electrical or mechanical systems.
