Hours: 36 Hours per week
Salary: 34929 - 36522 per annum fully inclusive (pro rata)

Barnet Education and Learning Service (BELS) are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Advisory Facilitator to join a dynamic Autism Advisory Team. The Autism advisory team provide support training and advice for staff working in Barnet mainstream schools. Occasionally the team provide support for specialist provisions.
The successful candidate will support schools working with Autistic pupils with complex communication and support needs. We are looking for a candidate who has experience of supporting Autistic pupils with learning disabilities and high support needs. Candidates may have had experience of working as teacher assistants learning support assistants or higher-level teaching assistants in mainstream or specialist provision. The successful candidate will work as part of the Specialist Team which includes teams for hearing and vision support; physical disabilities; SEMH; speech language and communication and a pre-school Autism service.
The role includes modelling strategies supports and interventions working closely with the Autism Advisory Teacher in mainstream primary schools. The candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills have a strong team ethos and be able to motivate challenge and inspire colleagues school staff and other professionals. Wewould particularly welcome applications from Autistic and neurodivergent candidates.
