Coral Shores Behavioral Health in Stuart FL is currently recruiting a BC Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for their Inpatient Services. Must be comfortable treating ages child-adult.
Coral Shores Behavioral Health is an inpatient mental health facility located in Stuart Florida that treats adult populations children and adolescents with mental health and/or drug addiction issues.
Our professionals take a multi-disciplinary approach to alltreatment services using current industry practices and standards as a guide to assessing treating and caring for the individuals in which we support.
Position Duties and Highlights:

Requirements:
Work in a collaborative practice with the opportunity to grow personally and professionally while working with a professional competent and compassionate staff.
- Clinical Duties: The scope of practice of the Nurse Practitioner shall be evaluation diagnosis and treatment of patients. In particular the treatments offered consist of insight cognitive and supportive psychotherapy behavioral interventions health teaching case management discharge planning and the prescribing of medication. Prescribes medication and consistently utilizes the nursing process to provide quality patient care to hospital patients. Revises medication and nursing care plans as needed in conjunction with Program Director and treatment planning goals. Participates in treatment team meetings as directed by Medical Director. Monitors medications and dosages and adjusts as needed. Follows hospital nursing policies and procedures in prescribing medications and treatments.
Requirements:
- Graduation from accredited Masters level Nurse Practitioner program with a specialty in psychiatry. Must have Florida license or the ability to obtain
- PMHNP certification is required.
- Daily caseload will be mostly Adult populations but must be comfortable treating ages 8 and older.
- Must be GA licensed.
