Job Description

Our Dallas office has a great opportunity for a Contracts Assistant. The Contracts Assistant assists attorneys paralegals and legal professionals in the organization and management of documents by performing the following duties:

  • Serve as liaison between clients and attorneys to complete legal assignments.
  • Conduct document searches across document management systems.
  • Monitor deadlines to ensure the legal teams timely completion of and responses to project and client needs.
  • Perform document and information searches using automated research systems.
  • Maintain document management systems and spreadsheets.
  • Organize edit and analyze large volumes of documents documents and data.
  • Streamlining processes to drive efficiency in support of speed and agility.
  • Open requests and monitor response dates with use of project management applications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED required; bachelors degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 4 years experience in a professional fast-paced setting required.
  • Project management experience preferred.
  • Must possess strong organizational and communication skills and be a team player.
  • Must possess strong attention to detail ability to balance multiple projects and have strong time management skills.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced high-volume environment.
  • Strong ability to work well under pressure and quickly adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to provide a high level of customer service and be able to clearly and effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite; ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimal direction and follow-up on own initiative.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours as needed.
  • Experience coordinating projects and conducting research preferred.
  • Familiarity with project or client management applications such as SmartSheet PowerBI and Contracts 365 preferred.
