Customer Service Overriding Expectation:

Accounting / Finance
Serves on the Regional Cabinet and provides fiscal information and analysis about programs services and activities to effectively implement a financial plan in support of the strategic plan.
Assures assessment of functional area needs investigates and develops alternative strategies establishes priorities and goals recommends implementation activities and evaluates progress.
Determines staffing needs and assures training development and evaluation of administrative and support staff necessary for the efficient operation of each area.
Assures compliance with College policies and procedures.
Oversees the development and administration of budgets for each functional area and prioritizes and recommends expenditures to the Chancellor and Regional Board of Trustees.
Plans and prepares the annual capital and operating budgets. Establishes regional utilities budget and leases. Provides Financial Analysis and interpretation of such. Maintains necessary budgetary controls per College policies and practices.
Works with team to prepare P/L statements/reports for each academic program area and all administrative units on a monthly quarterly and year-end basis.
Works with the Chancellor in the development of comprehensive analyses of programs services facilities and activities.
Verifies the accuracy of all restricted budgets in coordination with Sponsored Program Department at Central Office.
Works with team to prepare monthly quarterly and year end expenditure and income reports.
Oversee revenue collection and write offs.
Forecasts future income and expense flows
Works with the Chief of Staff on the Anderson Campus to develop and monitor effective purchasing and material management procedures and controls.
Oversees financial aspect of auxiliary services including the bookstore food services operation and conference center.
Works with Presidents office on statewide strategy planning and implementation.
Participates in major campus events such as but not limited to the commencement ceremony.

Salary Range: $100000-$115000.00
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree in a business discipline or public administration required.
Prior supervisory experience required
Must be adept at resolving individual and group conflicts and must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to listen to customer needs and translate those needs to actionable academic and business steps.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
Team player and ability to work in a team environment.
Ability and willingness to travel.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Related Masters degree CPA or CMA preferred
Experience with the state budgeting system for higher education
Prior experience in higher education
