Salary:32589 - 39168 dependent on experience

Reporting to:Education Outreach Lead.

Job Type: Maternity cover. Fixed term contract. Starting in October 2025 (expected length of contract 12-15 months).

Contracted hours: Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week.

Location:Standlake Oxfordshire.

About the role

Were looking for a Therapeutic Trainer & Outreach Practitioner to join our Outreach team to develop reflective practices and collaborative working to strengthen the culture of leadership in education sectors to support vulnerable children their families and the wider community.

Well look to you to:

• Contribute to our support of the educational sectors and schools and occasional cover for training in criminal justice and social care settings.
• Contribute to our expansion into the delivery of online training.
• Work across the Outreach team to support the delivery of other training courses as necessary.
• To act as an ambassador for The Mulberry Bush working within its values and ethos.

About you

Were looking for someone who embodies resilience empathy and a deep commitment to making a positive impact. Someone who can be a Mulberry Bush ambassador with the ability to develop long-lasting and fulfilling relationships with school leadership teams and the wider community to help untap the potential of vulnerable children when others have given up. Youll also need:

• Experience in delivering face to face and online training programmes in educational settings.
• Experience of working with children and families.
• An understanding of how to support children and young people with social emotional and mental health needs in the classroom.
• Up to date knowledge of the educational settings across the UK and internationally.
• Training or qualifications that demonstrate a clear ability to communicate effectively and think critically.
• To be flexible in your working hours. When delivering in person sessions to settings you may be required to travel outside of normal working hours.
• A valid and full UK driving licence.
• The legal right to live and work in the UK.

We are dedicated to transforming the lives of those affected by childhood trauma. Since 1948 weve been helping children and those around them through specialist therapeutic services and fulfilling activities.
