Job Description

M&G Wealth Advice and Sandringham Financial Partners are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join our team as the Advisory Relationships Director. This key role will oversee the two main trading brands M&G Wealth Advice and Sandringham Financial Partners and manage the Head of Adviser Relationships as well as the Business Development and Remote Distribution teams. The role will also carry the SMF3 function for proposition and senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for managing and enhancing advisory relationships across M&G Wealth Advice.

  • Brand Oversight: Oversee the operations and strategic direction of both M&G Wealth Advice and Sandringham Financial Partners ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives.

  • Relationship Management: Lead and manage the Head of Adviser Relationships to strengthen and grow relationships with advisers ensuring high levels of engagement and satisfaction.

  • Business Development: Oversee the Business Development team to drive growth and expand the advisory network.

  • Remote Distribution: Lead the Remote Distribution teams to ensure effective and efficient delivery of advisory services.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior leadership advisers and key stakeholders to drive alignment and support for strategic initiatives.

  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all advisory relationships and business development strategies comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards. SMF3.

  • Team Leadership: Build inspire and lead high-performing teams dedicated to adviser relationships business development and remote distribution. Foster a diverse and inclusive team culture that promotes innovation and collaboration.

  • Succession Planning: Develop and implement a succession planning strategy to ensure a robust pipeline of talent for future leadership roles within the organisation.

  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the teams

  • Professional Development: Encourage ongoing professional development and training for team

  • Performance Metrics: Establish and track KPIs related to adviser relationships business development and remote distribution.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in wealth management advisory services.

  • Proven strategic leadership skills with a history of managing change and transformation

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Deep understanding of market trends and regulatory requirements in the advice sector.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and develop compelling advisory propositions.

  • Bachelors degree in finance business or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
