ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:
This is an exciting new role for a fixed-term full time Medical Administration Registrar to join the St Vincents Private Hospital Melbourne (SVPHM) at our Fitzroy campus.
This role will provide assistance to the Medical Director to ensure effective clinical governance standards and the highest quality of care are provided across the four St Vincents Private Hospital Melbourne facilitates.
Key Duties and responsibilities:
Supporting the appropriate credentialing of all Accredited Medical Practitioners
Coordinating the orientation rosters and other aspects associated with junior medical trainee rotations
Arranging quarterly medical specialty meetings (including preparation of data)
Participating in risk management activities
Undertaking clinical and medical record audits
Participation in relevant committees (including the role of Chair
Communicating with Hospital staff and Accredited Medical Practitioners

ABOUT YOU:
As an outstanding Medical Administration Registrar keen to utilise your skills and experience in the Private Sector.
Essential:
MBBS or equivalent
Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Approved trainee of Royal Australian College of Medical Administrators (RACMA
Minimum of 3 years general clinical experience
Other skills and competencies
Mission orientation and beliefs
Strong communication skills
Relationship building / interpersonal skills
Commitment to teamwork
A high skill level in Medical/Surgical practic
An understanding of and commitment to total quality service
