Job Description
The Department of Exercise Science is looking for an NATA Certified Athletic Trainer ( ATC ) to teach ESC 140 Sport Medicine. This is an on-campus position in the classroom remote teaching is not available. This course is taught every semester. The course is an introduction to the movement of the musculoskeletal systems as well as athletic injury prevention evaluation and management as well as rehabilitation. Sport psychology and nutrition as related to injury is also covered. In addition emergency response and CPR / AED training and certification is included in the course. Part-time faculty must prepare and implement weekly lessons and lab activities communicate with students via email and online announcements be able to use the CANVAS online classroom platform and provide grades and grade feedback within a timely fashion. Required Qualifications
M.S. or doctoral degree in Athletic Training. NATA - ATC Certified Training Instructor for American Heart Association or American Red Cross
