Job Title Head - Facility Services (India Supply Unit)
Purpose:
Head - Facility Services is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing all administrative and facility management operations within KONE India factory including managing office space maintenance security housekeeping vendor contracts and ensuring compliance with safety regulations while also coordinating administrative functions like office supplies transportation and employee support services; essentially acting as the primary point of contact for all facility-related issues and administrative needs within the company.
What will you be doing
Responsibilities
- Facility Management:
- Overseeing all aspects of building maintenance including preventative maintenance schedules repairs renovations and upgrades.
- Responsible for Plant Maintenance Facility Services (ACMV Fire IBMS MHE) & Utility services like Electricity Pneumatic Water (WTP STP ETP) and Gas
- Responsible for regulatory compliance in above areas like TNPCB PESO CEIG FIRE.
- Managing contracts with external vendors for Transport / Cabs Security Canteen & Pantry Management Security Housekeeping Landscape maintenance Pest control and other Facility services.
- Also taking care of Access control / Visitor management CCTV monitoring Laundry Services Local tax payments Uniforms Petty cash
- Monitoring facility usage and optimizing space allocation.
- Ensuring compliance with building codes safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Responding to emergencies and coordinating necessary repairs.
- Administrative Services:
- Managing office supplies and inventory
- Coordinating employee onboarding and relocation processes
- Overseeing office operations including mailroom reception and IT support
- Managing company vehicle fleet and transportation arrangements
- Implementing and maintaining administrative policies and procedures
- Budgeting and Cost Control:
- Developing and managing the facility management budget
- Negotiating contracts with vendors to optimize costs
- Monitoring expenses related to facility operations and administrative services
- Team Leadership:
- Leading and supervising a team of facility management staff including maintenance technicians and contract labors like cleaning personnel and security guards
- Providing training and development opportunities for team members
- Delegating tasks and responsibilities effectively
Are you the one
- Educational Qualification Engineering M.B.A. or any relevant degree
- Minimum of 20 to 25 years of experience in Facility Management & Administration (preferably from factory background)
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Proven experience in facility management and administrative operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of laws regulations and industry standards related to facility management.
- Knowledge of building maintenance practices and safety regulations
- Define and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and processes for all aspects of facility management operations.
- Establish a Management Information System (MIS) to track activities on a daily weekly and monthly basis.
- Budget management and cost control expertise
- Proficiency in contract negotiation
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
