Job Title:Consultant Adult Psychiatry
Grade:Consultant
Location:Havant Hampshire
Working Hours:40 hours per week
We are currently seeking a highly experienced and dedicatedConsultant in Adult Psychiatry to join our NHS clients mental health service in Havant Hampshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and shape psychiatric care within a well-established multidisciplinary team. The role is available on alocum basiswith animmediate startand offerscompetitive rates.
What will your responsibilities be
As a Consultant Psychiatrist you will provide clinical leadership and oversight for the assessment diagnosis and treatment of adults with complex mental health conditions. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams contribute to care planning and risk management and ensure high standards of clinical governance. The role also involves supervising junior medical staff participating in service development and engaging with external stakeholders to support integrated care pathways.

Qualifications and Experiences:
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practise essential
- Inclusion on the Specialist Register for General Adult Psychiatry required
- Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status desirable
- Extensive experience in adult mental health services
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience
- Excellent communication clinical and decision-making skills
