The Role Based in Newton Abbot:

We are seeking a Textile Manager to join our Newton Abbot site. This vital role ensures the smooth operation of textile stock managementfrom procurement and budgeting to quality control and lifecycle optimisation.

You will be at the heart of our commitment to delivering dependable cost-effective textile services to clients particularly in the hospitality industry.

Your Mission at Elis

  • Lead and embed a strong textile culture at the site.

  • Manage site-level textile purchasing and ensure spend aligns with budget targets.

  • Monitor customer demand adjust stock levels seasonally and optimise textile availability.

  • Collaborate with Customer Services and Account Management to uphold service standards.

  • Analyse customer behaviour identify overconsumption and advise on best practices.

  • Oversee storeroom management textile flow and the ragged-out/rewash process.

  • Drive textile reuse and reintegration to maximise garment life and reduce waste.

  • Train internal teams and support customers on textile handling and care.

  • Use data tools and reporting to influence business decisions.

What will make you stand out

  • Degree or equivalent professional experience in an operations or service-led role.

  • Strong attention to detail with data analysis and reporting capabilities.

  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Experience in laundry/textile services or customer-focused environments is a plus.

  • IT literate organised and proactive.
