Job Description

UNE Partnerships are currently seeking contract Trainers and Assessors for our Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance (HLT33021).

Established by the University of New England (UNE) we are a leading Registered Training Organisation (RTO 6754) providing quality distance and online education to diverse range of students and organisations around Australia and overseas. We take great pride in the success of our students and we make a genuine commitment to helping our clients and corporate partners achieve the same.

About the role:

We are seeking passionate and experienced Allied Health professionals with a passion for delivering quality training to join our team of Trainers and Assessors.

This role would be suitable for contract trainers who are comfortable managing their own time while working remotely. They will bring with them a blend of training and industry experience.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conducting effective assessment of online submissions by our students and cohorts undertaking HLT33021 Cert III Allied Health Assistance
  • Delivering online webinars relating to learning content or assessments
  • Collaborating with program and academic staff to ensure student success and completion.

About you:

As the successful candidate you will have:

  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent/higher qualification in adult education)
  • Experience in delivery and assessment of VET programs to individuals and groups
  • Minimum Certificate IV Allied Health Assistance
  • Minimum of 3 years industry experience in an Allied Health role
  • Registration as an Allied Health professional (highly desirable)
  • Current Working with Childrens Check (WWCC)
  • Competency in using Learning Management Systems (such as Moodle and aXcelerate)
  • Attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
