The Jonus Group is an insurance-only full-service recruiting firm that offers both direct hire and contract hire services and we are seeking a New Mexico Workers Compensation Claims professional to join one of our valued clients dynamic and growing team. As a key member of their Claims department you will not only be responsible for managing their Workers Comp Claims in New Mexico but you will also be a key member of the team in building strong customer relationships providing strong customer service and ensuring timely and fair resolution for all parties involved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and process workers compensation claims in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct thorough investigations to determine the validity of claims.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals legal teams and other stakeholders to gather relevant information.
  • Communicate effectively with claimants employers and insurance providers to provide updates and address inquiries.
  • Negotiate settlements and manage litigation when necessary.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends legal changes and best practices in workers compensation.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience as a Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster handling New Mexico Indemnity claims
  • NM Adjusters license
  • Must reside in New Mexico
  • Knowledge of New Mexico state workers compensation laws regulations and industry practices
  • Proficient in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite
