Schedule: Monday - Friday 5/40 First Shift

Job Description:

This position inspects evaluatates tests overhauls and repairs shipboard electrical circuit breakers for Government and U.S. Navy customers.

Essential Functions:

Perform all work in the breaker shop to meet production goals to include safety quality delivery and cost.
Act as lead to train other technicians.
Execute production schedules based on product demand equipment efficiency/availability and inventory.
Track and manage manufacturing orders utilizing an Engineering and Manufacturing Resource Planning System.
Track record and report operational metrics and statistical process control measures.
Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Qualifications:

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associates degree with a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
Electrical circuit breakers experience; inspects evaluatates tests overhauls and repairs electrical circuit breaker.
Experience with reading scamatics drawings diagrams and tech manuals.
Ability to document inspection results.
Preferred Additional Skills:

Knowledge of the following breakers: AQB-1600 AQB-5K AQB-503 LF-250 LF-400 and molded case breakers.
Ability to assist in training junior technicians
