The Opportunity
Join our team as a Clinical Research Fellow and play a pivotal role in advancing innovative treatments for eating disorders. This position offers the opportunity to lead a multidisciplinary clinical research team in the delivery and dissemination of high-quality clinical trials co-designed with people with lived and living experience of eating disorders. You will ensure all activity aligns with study protocols Good Clinical Practice and regulatory standards. Based at BrainPark a state-of-the-art research facility and working in collaboration with both academic experts and the Australian Eating Disorders Research and Translation Centre this role is critical in developing meaningful interventions and driving excellence in clinical research.
As a key contributor the Clinical Research Fellow will lead the development and implementation of treatment manuals and oversee the delivery of innovative personalised therapeutic interventions for eating disorders within a multi-site clinical trial framework. This role is central to generating high-quality research outputs including conference presentations and peer-reviewed publications while providing senior-level expertise to support and mentor internal teams. A vital responsibility includes guiding emerging science-practitioners (Clinical Psychology PhD students) fostering their professional development and strengthening research capacity. Additionally the position ensures rigorous clinical trial management by utilising platforms such as RedCap and advanced statistical analyses to maintain the integrity and excellence of trial processes.
