The Department of Pediatrics at theUniversity of Florida is seeking a research oriented clinicianat theAssistant/ Associate/Professor level topursue a tenure or non-tenure trackcareer in the Division of Genetics and Metabolism.
The Department provides comprehensive clinical care anddiagnostic genetics services to pediatric patients referred for the evaluation of geneticdisorders. The divisions mission is to effectively teach medical genetics to students andresidents at all levels of their training and to conduct clinical and molecular-basedgenetics research and expert clinical care.
The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Florida-College of Medicine is thepremier academic medical center for children in northern Florida and hosts a broadrange of NIH-funded biomedical scientists and clinical researchers who benefit fromrobust institutional support. There is an abundance of research opportunities andpossibilities for collaboration throughout the university.
The position will provide genetic care services to patientsin numerous locations including: Tallahassee/Pensacola outreach clinics Pediatrics Specialties clinics and UF Health Shands Childrens HospitalTelemedicine and any other locations established or expanded. Effort will be devoted to the FLDOH CMS Longterm Genetics and NBS will alsoparticipate in teaching housestafffellows and medical students assignedto inpatient and outpatient will also develop a researchprogram in area of interest.
Rank and tenure will be commensurate with qualifications.

Applicants must have a M.D. orM.D./Ph.D. or other equivalent and belicensed or eligible for licensure in theState of Florida in Pediatrics and beboard certified /eligible in GeneralPediatrics or the appropriate subspecialty.
