Job Description

Job Title: Senior Residential Childcare Support Worker
Location: Barnsley
Salary:: 27519.96 to 28128.36 base salary with the potential to earn up to 32919.96 to 33528.36 with sleep-in shifts

Working Hours: 39 hours per week (flexible rota including weekends and bank holidays)
Number of Sleeps Required: 810 per month
Pay Per Sleep: 45 per night
Service: Childrens Home
Service Users: Young People aged 817 with EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties)
Qualifications Required: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent. Level 5 Diploma for qualified pay bracket.
Experience in Years Required: Minimum 1 year in a similar Ofsted-regulated setting
Employment Type: Permanent

  • Number of Beds: 4
  • Location: Barnsley
  • Type of YPs: EBD Trauma Neglect CSE
  • Ofsted Rating: Good
  • Ratio of staff to children: 1:1
