How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW

Air Liquide Homecare Belgium B.V and Air Liquide Home Healthcare Nederland B.V. located in Zemst (BE) & Lelystad (NL) are part of the global Air Liquide Group specializing in delivering medical services and equipment to patients in their homes in the Benelux region. Operating largely under the name VitalAire they provide oxygen therapy respiratory equipment sleep apnea treatment and home treatment for other chronic diseases. Their mission is to help patients achieve a better quality of life through specialized medical services and equipment.

During your 24 months V.I.E. assignment as Buyer (m/f/d) you will become a pivotal part of the procurement teams based in the Netherlands and Belgium that are integrated in the Home Healthcare procurement organization. You will closely interact with mainly all teams and notably with operations sales finance and HR. In addition you will work with the local procurement teams as well as with colleagues from other Home Healthcare organizations.

Your key responsibilities will be the following:

  • Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies identify cost-saving and efficiency improvements.

  • Supplier Management: Maintain supplier relationships negotiate contracts and evaluate performance.

  • Procurement Process: Analyze and improve the procurement process ensure compliance and report on performance.

  • Projects: Participate in projects to optimize procurement.

  • Ideally you hold an Engineering or Business School Masters Degree with a specialization or a first experience in procuremen

  • You convince with effective communication skills and are able to understand others needs by positioning yourself in their shoe

  • Being a responsive and responsible team player you are open-minded and love to work with diverse teams

  • In addition you possess strong interpersonal skills combined with analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Your ability to work independently and prioritize helps you to work in a structured way

  • You acquired advanced knowledge of procurement processes and systems and are strong with google sheets

  • You are fluent in English; Dutch and French language skills are welcome but not mandatory

  • You are open for regular trips to our office in Leylstad Netherlands
