SG2 Recruiting in partnership with Identity Strategy Partners is seeking a Reports and Assessments Staff Officer (Level 1) to support a high-impact intelligence and security contract with the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security (OUSD(I&S)).
About the Mission
The Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security (USD(I&S)) is the principal advisor to the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of Defense for all defense intelligence counterintelligence and security matters. USD(I&S) oversees all DoD intelligence and security agencies including the NSA and DIA and plays a central role in policy budget oversight and ensuring the intelligence community aligns with U.S. military and national security priorities.
This position provides direct support to the Sensitive Activities and Special Programs (SASP) Office contributing to the development and execution of sensitive intelligence programs and oversight functions across DoD.
Position: Reports and Assessments Staff Officer (Level 1)
Location: Pentagon Mark Center or other government sites within the National Capital Region
Work Schedule: In-person full-time (Ad-hoc telework with prior Government approval)
Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI with eligibility for SAP access
Salary Range: $120000 $125000 annually

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and staff quarterly DoD reports and briefings on sensitive activities for Congress and Executive Branch leaders.
Coordinate and facilitate working groups and executive councils including SA-EXCON meetingsmanage agendas materials and minutes.
Conduct analysis of large classified datasets; develop data visualizations and dashboards (e.g. in Kibana) to identify trends inform policy and support oversight.
Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of data-informed reporting tools and methodologies.
Support collaboration with Government product owners and developers to integrate data analysis into software and decision-making tools.
Assist in drafting and updating policy strategy and legislative documentation related to sensitive activities.
Maintain historical records and SOPs related to reporting and assessments.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree
Active TS/SCI clearance and eligibility for SAP access
At least 1 year of experience producing reports/briefings for DoD or the Intelligence Community
At least 1 year of experience using data analysis tools for reporting
At least 1 year of experience preparing reports for Congressional briefings
