Job Description
The Undergraduate Student Services Coordinator is a member of the Undergraduate Academic Affairs Office (UAAO) in the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences. This role supports the team across a variety of areas includingbut not limited togeneral administrative support academic advising enrollment services student transactions student recruitment and curriculum management. This position requires proactive and independent work to manage multiple tasks effectively. Additionally the coordinator serves as the receptionist for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences building.
Specific responsibilities include:
-Processing student academic transactions including major changes course withdrawals and adjustments to course schedules (e.g. adding independent studies and undergraduate research or course adds or drops).
-Coordinating electronic form processes.
-Managing weekly student communications.
-Assisting with new student virtual course registration.
-Providing administrative support to the UAAO team members as needed.
-Coordinating and disseminating information to colleagues across the College.
-Supporting the curriculum approval process for the academic catalog.
-Participating in and supporting recruiting admissions advising and career development events.
Required Qualifications
-Administrative experience in an academic or professional office environment.
-Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
-Demonstrated ability to work independently collaboratively and respectfully in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
-Experience working in a customer service-focused environment.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google applications.
-Experience with database management word processing presentation creation email and calendar management.
-Ability to quickly learn and use new software and web-based administrative systems.
Preferred Qualifications
-Familiarity with academic and business policies and procedures at the college and university.
-Knowledge of electronic form processes like DocuSign.
-Considerable experience with administrative systems such as BANNER Scholarship Central Navigate Slate or other institutional databases.
