Job Description
- Role is to help people with any health or medical concerns that may come up in consultation with the primary care team which includes the hospital public health nurse general practitioner etc.
- It is expected of nurses to support and teach the skills necessary for people to be as self-reliant and community-focused as possible.
- Nurses offer health-related educational and personal contributions; they also empower people to advocate for themselves or if necessary on their behalf; and they encourage community involvement and inclusion for the person.
Requirements
- Candidates must possess proof of a nursing pin and a third-level nursing qualification.
- Experience working in disability services for at least a year is required.
- Own a current drivers license that is fully manual.
