Lead Process Engineer Chemical / Hydrocarbon / Oil & Gas
We are seeking an experienced Lead Process Engineer with a strong background in chemical hydrocarbon petrochemical refinery and oil & gas sectors. The ideal candidate will have 10 to 13 years of experience in process design and engineering demonstrating expertise in global codes standards and best engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Design & Engineering: Develop and review process plant designs in compliance with global industry standards. Experience with company-specific standards is a plus.
- Process Simulations & Deliverables: Prepare and review process simulations (Aspen/Hysys) heat & material balances (H&MB) PFDs UFDs and P&IDs.
- Equipment & Instrumentation: Create process equipment and instrument datasheets conduct vendor technical bid evaluations and ensure optimal selection for PDP FEED and DEP projects.
- Process & Safety Studies: Participate in PHA HAZOP and various design and safety studies ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Utility & Process Packages: Develop process and utility package datasheets review vendor documents and validate process engineering calculations.
- Project Management & Coordination: Lead multiple projects collaborate with clients site engineers and cross-functional teams and ensure alignment with project scope and requirements.
- Quality & Compliance: Establish and monitor engineering processes quality assurance protocols and compliance requirements while ensuring efficient change management in scope effort hours schedule and materials.
- Review & Validation: Conduct peer reviews QC checks and participate in gate reviews to validate all engineering and design deliverables.

Process Simulation: Aspen Plus Hysys Unisim
Hydraulics & Flow Analysis: KORF AFT Fathom/Arrow/Impulse PipeNet
Heat Transfer & Safety Analysis: HTRI FlareNet
Key Attributes & Qualifications
- / B.E. in Chemical Engineering with 10 to 13 years of relevant experience.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise engineering efforts across multiple projects and coordinate with teams in home offices and project sites.
- Proven ability to manage project schedules resources and change management processes effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients vendors and internal stakeholders.
