About the Role:

The Team:
The Money Market Directories (MMD) team is responsible in data collection and maintenance of a comprehensive web-based information platform tailored specifically for various types of investors and investment managers worldwide. The team creates customer value by providing timely comprehensive and accurate data used to help build business relationships; enable and identify new sales opportunities and sources of capital; perform focused prospecting and develop targeted mailing campaigns. MMD can also provide access to information on key decision makers who manage investment capital worldwide.

The team creates customer value by providing timely comprehensive and accurate data used to help build business relationships; enable and identify new sales opportunities and sources of capital; perform focused prospecting and develop targeted mailing campaigns. MMD can also provide access to information on key decision makers who manage investment capital worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Data Collection Strategy & Execution:
    • Design and implement a robust data collection strategy across all datasets.
    • Explore new data sourcing opportunities through partnerships and proprietary databases.
    • Lead initiatives to automate data collection ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Data Quality & Standardization:
    • Establish rigorous processes to maintain data quality and integrity.
    • Oversee standardization of methodologies for consistency across asset classes.
    • Conduct regular audits to validate data accuracy meeting the firms standards.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with Technology Compliance Research and Investment Strategy teams to optimize data workflows.
    • Partner with Data Analysts and Research Teams to interpret data for insights and market research.
    • Engage with external stakeholders including asset managers and institutional investors to enhance data efforts.
    • Develop outreach capabilities.
  • Process Improvement & Innovation:
    • Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in data management and reporting.
    • Introduce advanced technologies and best practices to enhance data efficiency.
    • Lead projects aimed at scaling data operations considering global market expansion.
  • Reporting & Insights:
    • Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards highlighting key data trends and insights.
    • Assist in creating client-ready presentations to support business decisions.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in data management.
  • Tool Modernization & Transformation
    • Building New UI gathering requirements to build new UI
    • Legacy tool modernization Drafting requirement documents (Mock-up docs & Prototype Excels for the new UI)
    • Owning up the UAT requirements in tool modernization journey.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of data governance or data management experience with technical skills required (e.g. data querying data analysis data visualization)
  • Intermediate SQL skills Intermediate MS Excel skill
  • Experience with Data Bricks
  • Financial data knowledge preferred.
  • Familiarity with database architecture and ability to manipulate large data sets.
  • Content product & distribution experiencea plus
  • Strong influential negotiation interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic fast-paced environment
  • Agile (scrum) experience a plus
  • Bachelors degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience
