Position: Senior Account Executive
Experience: 4-8 years (including 2 years in a manufacturing environment)
Location: Ganesh Nagar Wadgaonsheri Pune 411014

Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Statements & Reporting:
- Prepare and review monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Analyze financial data including revenue expenses and inventory valuation.
- Provide detailed variance analysis and insights on financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Assist in preparing financial reports for senior management decision-making.
2. Cost Accounting:
- Oversee and monitor production costs including direct materials labor and overhead.
- Implement cost accounting systems to ensure accurate allocation of costs to products.
- Work closely with production teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency.
3. Inventory Management:
- Supervise inventory control processes including reconciliation valuation and cycle counts.
- Coordinate with procurement and production teams to maintain optimal inventory levels while reducing excess or obsolete stock.
- Ensure accuracy in stock valuation and maintain proper documentation.
4. Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Monitor actual performance versus budget targets and provide variance explanations.
- Offer financial insights and recommendations during budget planning and strategy meetings.
5. Compliance and Audit:
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards tax regulations (GST TDS) and internal controls.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits and ensure timely submission of required documentation.
- Stay updated with the latest tax laws and compliance requirements.
6. Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline accounting processes for increased efficiency.
- Recommend system enhancements to improve financial reporting accuracy and timelines.
- Implement best practices in financial management and reporting.
7. General Accounting & Operational Tasks:
- Maintain day-to-day accounting in Tally Prime.
- Manage petty cash banking transactions and reconciliations.
- Handle vendor and client payments ensuring timely processing and accurate records.
- Visit banks for transactions and oversee payment collections as needed.
8. Accounts Receivable & Collections Management:
- Follow up on outstanding payments via calls emails and formal communication.
- Maintain and update records of payment communications.
- Prepare and submit aging reports to management.
- Resolve payment disputes and negotiate repayment terms with clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate collections and improve cash flow.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: preferred.
- Experience: 4-8 years in accounting with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles cost accounting GST TDS and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime ERP systems with inventory modules and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with cross-functional teams.
- High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Valid two-wheeler license for banking and payment collection activities.
