As the Chief Portfolio Value Officer you will have the following direct reports: Squad Leads Marketing Value Leads and Healthcare System Partners (HSPs).
The Opportunity
As the Chief Portfolio Value Officer youre an enthusiastic advocate for your area of expertise. Youll be responsible for developing coaching and managing performance to upskill capabilities within your Center. Youll also serve as a role model for agility demonstrating courage and integrity and empowering teams to achieve our North Star: better outcomes for more patients faster. Youll do this by inspiring and practicing servant leadership and fostering transparency. Youll enable knowledge sharing across Centers collaborating with other Center Heads to reach our collective goals. As part of the Enabling Leadership Team youll lead portfolio strategy and enable disease area teams while also building skills recruiting training and developing your Center team.
Youll bring the Pharma and Roche vision and principles to life ensuring internal and external alignment. Youll provide enterprise leadership to a highly externally-focused Greek organization dedicated to bringing Roches medicines to patients and finding solutions to improve the patient journey. This will always be done in alignment with local and global regulations license to operate requirements and adherence to the Roche Group Code of Conduct.
You will build a diverse talent pipeline by fostering an agile mindset and encouraging an inclusive network culture and people fluidity. This will provide exceptional learning opportunities for our employees and the organization inspiring them to collectively bring our innovation to more patients faster.
Who You Are
You have at least 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry including significant experience in large-scale leadership and cross-portfolio/functional/commercial roles. Ideally your background will include a mix of functions and experience with at least 5 years of people management responsibilities or extensive experience in a matrix leadership role.
You actively role model the Visionary Architect Catalyst Coach (VACC) model.
You possess a strong enterprise mindset (We before Me) with exceptional partnering capabilities including coaching consulting deep listening questioning and understanding.
You are a catalyst and mobilizer building and maintaining open and transparent relationships with internal/external stakeholders and your wider network to create share and scale value.
You have a growth mindset capable of rapid learning and unlearning taking risks experimenting and contributing to the learning cycle by sharing knowledge within and outside Roche.
