Job Description
Job Description and Responsibilities
- Electrical troubleshooting and repairs electrical-related upgrades and installation as well as utilizing wiring diagrams drawings specifications and instructions covering the scheduled and emergency repair installation and inspection of work to be done
- Mechanical troubleshooting and repairs mechanical-related upgrades and installation and make mechanical repairs as required in connection with the production and electronic equipment
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs to mechanical electrical and control systems
- Planning requesting quotes ordering supplies and equipment
- Performs other duties as they might be assigned
Requirements
- Must possess a valid inter-provincial journeyman electrical certification
- Previous work experience in an industrial manufacturing setting is essential
- Strong mechanical aptitude would be a preferred asset
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced team team-oriented environment
- Work in an environment subject to fluctuations in heat humidity fumes dust and noise
- Keep accurate and legible records and maintain a clean and safe work area
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to work shift work including straight nights
