The role

Are you ready to play a key role in shaping the future of our region Were excited to offer a 5-year fixed-term position within our Land Use Planning team for a Development Contributions Coordinator. This position supports the delivery of infrastructure that meets community needs by overseeing the development implementation and management of contribution plans.

In this role youll provide financial oversight monitor the collection and expenditure of contributions and ensure reporting and legislative compliance. Youll also support internal teams and manage consultants in delivering new contribution plans that align with Councils strategic goals.

Key responsibilities:

To succeed in this role youll bring qualifications in project management commerce asset accounting or a related fieldor equivalent local government experience. Youll be detail-oriented with strong financial administrative and analytical skills. Your ability to build relationships influence stakeholders and navigate complex legislative requirements will ensure your success in delivering high-impact outcomes for our growing region.

Salary: Salary range $108000 - $120000 p.a. plus superannuation (negotiable based on skills and experience).

Location: This position will be based at our Administration Centre in Yalawanyi Ganya at 2 Biripi Way Taree. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.

Tenure: Full Time 35 hours per week for a five-year fixed term contract.

Closing date:Saturday 2 August 2025 at 11.30 pm.
