Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team in Plano TX. This is an immediate opening for a motivated professional with a strong background in commercial project estimation.
Responsibilities:

Estimate mid to large-scale commercial electrical projects
-
Perform accurate take-offs and apply best practices in estimating
-
Coordinate project scope with materials specifications and local/national codes
-
Conduct site visits as necessary to assess project scope
-
Manage RFIs during the bidding process
-
Qualify quotes from vendors and subcontractors
-
Prepare proposal letters bid forms and turnover packages
-
Communicate directly with customers throughout the process
-
Contribute ideas to improve estimating and project processes
Qualifications:
-
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
-
Minimum of 5 years experience estimating commercial electrical projects
-
Strong understanding of blueprints specifications codes and regulations
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Accubid (Pro 13 or later preferred)
-
Previous hands-on field electrical experience is a plus
