Job Summary

Plant Automation Oversight

Manages the engineering interfaces design information to ensure compliance with the Technical Specification and Performance criteria during operation of the plant
Ensure adequate inspections and tests are performed and the results are properly documented to ensure safe reliable and correct operation (Factory Acceptance Tests Site Acceptance Tests etc.)
Identification and management of project risks

Optimization of electrical maintenance activities

Policy and Standards Compliance

Continually improve safety record by addressing both physical safety issues and employee safety attitudes.

Keep the plant clean and enforce HSE standards to protect personnel and equipment

Maintain and improve housekeeping in all areas

Comprehensiveness and quality of work standards and policies

The number of injuries as a result of work related incidents e.g. site accidents machinery accidents serious falls etc.

Reporting and Manuals

Prepare the technical reports and operating manuals requested by his supervisor

Timeliness and quality of reports

Employee Relations

Ensure that all employees pursue the HSE training
Proactively pursue personal training opportunities to deepen subject matter expertise and managerial skills

Assure that employee grievances are addressed in a timely fashion

Training penetration
